Nasza Klasa has become the number one in Poland

Growing at an extremely high speed the Polish social network nasza-klasa.pl has now become the number one community in the country. With up to 80,000 new sign ups every day and currently more than 4 billion page impressions the network has grown to be the website with the widest coverage and penetration in Poland. Almost all of the Polish "internet population" is now connected via the platform, ranging from pupils and university students to even the older generation of internet users. The dynamic growth has been promoted by the European Founders Fund since mid 2007.
 
 

NFTE awards young people’s business ideas

The Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) invites several teen future entrepreneurs to present their business ideas in Berlin. The ceremony on Nov. 16, 2007 is held under the patronage of Ursula von der Leyen (Federal Minister for Family Affairs). The winner will represent Germany at the annual NFTE event in New York in 2008. NFTE Germany e.V. helps young people from deprived communities build skills and unlock their entrepreneurial creativity. NFTE is supported by the European Founders Fund.
 
 

European Founders Fund takes a stake in Sport1.de

The European Founders Fund is investing in sport1.de with the aim to further leverage growth of the portal. Besides augmenting community features, new business and commercial models shall be conceived. Being Germany's largest sports portal, Sport1 offers comprehensive coverage on more than 20 different sports.

MyVideo about to be taken over by ProSiebenSat1 completely

With the sale of MyVideo.de to ProSiebenSat1, the European Founders Fund again led a very successful exit. The remaining shares of about 30% have been sold to ProSiebenSat1 for a total of 19M Euro. The prosperous video community is amongst Germany's largest websites.
